Hi, I’m Anne. I help organizations get inside the heads of their target audience, learning about their attitudes, perceptions, pain points and motivations using various research tools.
As President of Strategic Opinion Research, I work with the pros implementing marketing and branding strategies to help them know and understand how their audiences think.
I started out in the world of political polling and transitioned into various industries including healthcare, startups, and public affairs. While the industries are different, the goals are the same—to develop effective campaigns that will get noticed and be effective. I feel fortunate to be able to work in an area where I get to learn so much about different groups of people and what motivates them. I love my work because I’m able to bring the voice of the public to the table, making sure that strategies are responsive to the public’s needs.
I’m also a full-time faculty member in the College of Communication at Boston University where I teach Mass Communication Research and Marketing Communication. It’s a pleasure educating the next generation of communication professionals.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time with my family. I’m the proud mother of two daughters, a dog, a rabbit and a tortoise.
