Hi, my name is Bayla. I’m an independent writer, radio producer, researcher and generational expert. Most recently, I was Managing Editor at Culture Co-op, where I launched the biannual trend magazine, Humanly. While there, my research explored the biggest shifts changing culture and emerging trends in the categories that surround them, including technology, retail, food, media and more.
Prior to that, I served as Director of Trends Research and Strategic Insight at NBCUniversal, where I helped to develop The Curve Report and Curve Films, which brought a documentary approach to studying culture. My work has informed brands including BBC, Chobani, Telemundo and Universal Music, and been featured in The New York Times, Fast Company, and Forbes, among other publications.
Outside of work, I can usually be found hiking or riding a bicycle with my husband, Matt.
